What do we expect from you? That you’re as enthusiastic as we are to work in the Unreal Engine and on games that comes from the minds of our amazing creative directors.

Must Have:

  • Experience in Unreal Engine 4. We can’t hire someone who has no clue even what buttons to click in the UE4.
  • Ability to make systems based on the desires of the Creative Directors and other Developers.
  • Ways to communicate with the Devs. Whether it’d be Discord, Skype, or anything else. We always need a way to contact you.
  • Passion for video games. If you don’t even like video games, but plan on trying for the job. Go ahead! We won’t stop you.

Title UI/HUD Artist for Lurking in the Shadows

WGames is in hunt for a User Interface/Heads-Up Display Artist to create the interface art from pause menu, main menus, and everything in between.

A UI/HUD Artist not only creates the User Interface/Heads-Up Display art, but brings the interface to life with their own twists.

Duties:

  • Develop, maintain and create UI/HUD Assets for Lurking in the Shadows
  • Assists Designers and Programmers with Prototypes of UI/HUD Assets
  • Make UI/HUD Assets based on what is requested by the Game Designers and Programmers for things needed in game.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in UI/HUD Design/Creation.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and strong feeling UI/HUD Assets
  • Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude

  • Make atmospheric music that can be reveled and immerse both the BSLU Members and Lurkers of the shadows.

WGames is in search of a Community Moderator-Prospective to be one with the community of our games. From talking to people on Reddit to Managing Forums with other moderators for WGames, you’ll be in charge of a number of duties with other moderators.

Duties:

  • Managing Multiple Communities.
  • Managing Forums for various titles.
  • Communicating with the Developer Team(s) on a daily basis.
  • Communicating with the Social Media Manager to successfully brand and bring various social media accounts to life.
  • Moderate Reddit, Steam Forums, WGames Studio Forums, and other types of Forum based web-sites to control a community with a positive attitude.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, flexible and able to work with multiple stakeholders(stakeholders in this case being customers).
  • High comfort level with social media and online communications.
  • Experience managing or working with creative communities.
  • Experience creating, moderating, or managing forums.
  • Game or software development background.
  • Able to reinforce communities with a positive outlook.
  • Have an enthusiastic attitude towards various people.
  • Ability to properly use the English Language, with correct and proper grammar.

Preference to candidates who(optional):

A Character Designer/Modeler not only has an eye for detail when making characters, but puts that little glimmer on them to make them be unique.

DUTIES:

  • Create both high resolution 3D sculpts and final low polygon game assets
  • Couple hand painted textures and next-gen materials for use in game engine
  • Iterate on game assets with production artists via prototyping and group critiques

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-motivation, superior communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
  • Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group
  • Proven problem-solving / prototyping ability
  • Able to effectively collaborate with game designers and programmers
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in game development as an artist specializing in character / organic modeling using Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush or Mudbox.
